   Two types of games are mainly developed:
 
   Motor prevailing games and activities. They include all motor games and activities the child participates in out of 
   curiosity to know him/herself and to know his/her own body and the outside World by acting, exploring and manipulating.
   Importance of the motor prevailing activities in the child's development:
 
  • They promote sensorial- motor pleasure, which is the most evident expression of the childīs personality unit because it creates the bond between body sensations and tonic- emocional moods and allows the globality to be established. It always evolves towards a communication and creation dynamic: symbolic game, construction, drawing.

  • They promote the feelings of safety, self- esteem and trust, both in others and in him/herself

  • They promote the experience of possibilities and imitations of its own body by repeating certain skills

  • They cooperate in establishing the body schema, that is, they help to build the image of his/her own body

  • Through this activities, the child gets to know better his/her own body.

 

   Representative games. They are the make believe games, construction games and painting and drawing. In this activities, the child pretends, uses symbols, and by doing that he is thinking.
