Once a month we cook in second grade.
On April Fool’s Day two of our room Moms, Mrs. Sherise and Mrs. Cristina, came to help make carrot cake and shortbread.
We used two different measuring systems (grams/kilos and teaspoons/tablespoons/cups).
We learned about doing things in order, we learned to take turns and we learned about working safely in the kitchen.
