OVERVIEW

The purpose of the UAS After School Activities (ASA) Program is to enrich the education of our students by providing them with a range of fun and exciting activities in a safe environment.

The ASA Program includes activities such as chess, Scottish dance, ballet, swimming, karate, choir, French, Portuguese, tennis, homework club and drama. Other activities have included gardening, yoga, cooking, fine motor skills, pottery, beading, fencing, Model UN, knitting, ecology club and baseball.

The Program also provides opportunities to compete both locally and internationally. The Athletic Department strives to instill in our students the passion to become the best they can be regardless of skill level or age. The goal, regardless of age or team level, is to develop endurance, strength, self-confidence, teamwork, fundamentals and an understanding of the game. Our hope is that the students develop a lifelong commitment to healthy habits and a competitive spirit in athletics for life. Activities are held Monday to Friday from 3:30 to 4:40 for Elementary groups and 3:35 to 5:50 for Middle and High School groups.

You can see the activities sorted by grade level and by activity type on our website.
