“Students Rebuild” Bead-Making ResultsWater Challenge Certificate

Last May the UAS took part in the Students Rebuild water challenge by making 2350 paper beads for a water project to help bring clean and safe drinking water to 117 people in Tanzania. The project was run by Students Rebuild, Global Nomads and Charity: Water. Students and families all over the world made paper beads and The Bezos Family Foundation paid $1 Dollar for each paper bead. A total of $323,460 was raised for this project – enough to provide funding for 41 water projects that give access to clean water to 16,173 people.
