SCHOOL SUPPLY REQUIREMENTS – GRADES 6 TO 8:

• Notebooks
• Folders
• Pencil case with pencils, black pen, blue pen, scissors, glue stick and ruler

ONE-TO-ONE LAPTOP REQUIREMENTS

Students in grades 7 to 12 need to have their own laptop to bring to school. Grade 6 students have access to the laptop cart and do not need to bring their own device to school. The minimum laptop requirements are:

• CPU: Core i3 5th Generation
• RAM: 8GB
• HDD: 256GB SSD (Solid State Drive)
• WiFi
• Operating System: PC, Mac, Linux, Windows (as long as it is one of the latest versions) are all fine
• Screen size – personal preference.

We share this information with you now because we know that many families will be traveling during break and it is sometimes easier and less expensive to purchase these items when traveling.

CALCULATOR REQUIREMENTS – GRADES 9 TO 12

Students in grades 9 to 12 need to have their own graphing calculator. Once purchased, students will be able to use the same calculator in all mathematics classes at UAS. Many already have their own calculator, but below is the list of IB approved calculators. Some teachers have a personal preference but agree that the Casio models and the Texas Instruments TI 84 Plus (all models) are the best. We share this information with you now because we know that many families will be traveling during break and it is sometimes easier and less expensive to purchase these items when traveling.
